China's historic resolution declares 'Xi Jinping's new era'

The Chinese Communist Party has adopted the so-called 'historical resolution' for the first time in 40 years.


It puts President Xi Jinping on the same level as Mao Zedong.

It was also evaluated as a leader who made China strong enough to compete with the United States, saying that President Xi has achieved a 'Xiaokang society' where all citizens can live in abundance.
